Here is a shot of the road leading to our house taken as the sun was just starting to go down on a beautiful day in December 2005.

It was 1:30 in the afternoon and what was I doing?
You guessed it -- Nothin'. (I was just enjoying reading the paper, my coffee and the sun)

....where I was enjoying the life of the unemployed, (as I napped in the sun and didn't have to go anywhere if I didn't want to) I realized (as I spotted Harpo relaxing after a day of lookin' for trouble, along with his brother) that I was living the life of a cat and boy was it a sweet deal!
Those lucky bastards. :)

It was October and it was warm and I was enjoying the sun and simply watering the plants on a lazy weekday afternoon, while the cats followed me around while looking for trouble as usual.
Needless to say, it was a lovely time:)

....here is a picture of at least ONE kitty taken from my sitting position shown in the picture before this. (At the time, Im not sure where the other one wandered off to)
Sure enough, it's 'trouble' checking out a box 'o stuff. (In his defense, even I don't know what all that is so, I can understand his curiousity)

Those were the salad days.

Dad and I are always worried that that thing is going to fall and crush us in our sleep during a major storm one of these days.

Boy, I feel so behind...as it is I still have yet to even finish posting Christmas (OR Thanksgiving) photos. Oh well, slowly but surely I guess. :)
